By using foursquare, members, friends and visitors from the community can check in and share their experience at each of the fraternity's chapter locations. With locations at nearly 80 campuses around North America, the mobile platform allows users to review tips, photos and comments from other users for each chapter.
Each check-in to a fraternity spot gives users a familiar experience. Check in to any fraternity spot three times on foursquare and unlock the official Delta Upsilon foursquare badge. Checking in can also unlock access to special promotions with fraternity vendors and partners.
Chapters can use foursquare as a way to easily spread information on campuses by sharing events and related content for potential members and the community. Alumni and collegians alike can share memories from their chapter, and by linking accounts, can choose to share their foursquare experience with posts to Facebook and Twitter.
By becoming a fan of the Delta Upsilon page on foursquare, foursquare.com/deltaupsilon attendees of the Leadership Institute will be able to quickly access local venues and points of interest though foursquare lists on their mobile device. With foursquare's enhanced event check-ins, attendees of the Leadership Institute will also be able to easily get information for and check into conference banquets and educational sessions.
