Board of Directors

The executive and administrative authority of the Fraternity shall be vested in the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall manage the affairs of the Fraternity and shall report to and be under the direction and control of the Assembly of Trustees. All power and authority exercised by the Board of Directors or any Officer or Director shall be in accordance with the Fraternity's Constitution and By-laws.

Dr. E. Bernard Franklin, Kansas State '75
President
Brother Franklin is the past president of Metropolitan Community College - Penn Valley. He is very active in his community and has held positions with organizations such as Kauffman Scholars, the National Center for Fathering, the Partnership for Children, Urban Youth Leadership, and Kansas State University.

Richard X. Taylor, North Carolina State '82
Chairman
Brother Taylor is an owner of Refiner Products Manufacturing, an equipment supplier to the Wood Products Industry, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is treasurer of the NC State Housing Corporation and an active member of the NC State Education Foundation. Brother Taylor has three sons, a brother, and father who have joined him as members of Delta Upsilon.

Timothy C. Dowd, Oklahoma '75 
Secretary
Brother Dowd is an attorney with Elias, Books, Brown and Nelson, in Oklahoma City, where his primary area of practice is oil and gas law. He is a frequent speaker and writer on oil and gas legal topics. While Brother Dowd was president of the Oklahoma Delta Upsilon Corporation, the chapter acquired their new chapter house. Brother Dowd is chairman of the fraternity's Standards Committee.

Bruce McKinney, Missouri '74
Treasurer
Bruce has progressed through a variety of financial executive leadership positions over his 36 year career.  Corporate experiences included Marathon Oil Company, Marion Merrell Dow (now Sanofi-Aventis) and Hallmark Cards, Inc., where he was Vice  President-Treasurer for 15 years. Bruce currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City. McKinney's son and son-in-law are both members of Delta Upsilon.

Downton is a retired vice president of Procter & Gamble.

John Duncan, Oregon State '00
Alumni Director
Brother Duncan is the director of the Holden Leadership Center at the University of Oregon. He also serves on the OSU chapter Alumni Board, is the chairman of the International Fraternity's Educational Programs Committee and is a member of the President's Leadership Task Force. After graduating from Oregon State University, Brother Duncan worked for IHQ as a Leadership Consultant and as a Director of Fraternity Expansion and has previously served as a Province Governor.

Alumni Director
Brother Fisher is president and chief technology officer or The Right Stuff Consulting. He does project management consulting for business focusing use of information technology to improve the bottom line results.

Aaron M. Siders, Kansas Sate '04 
Alumni Director
Brother Siders is a commercial banker at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, Mo. He has remained active post-graduation serving as Province Governor for Province 10 from 2005-2008, volunteering for a variety of DU IHQ educational programs, planning DU alumni events in Kansas City, and serving on the Kansas State Chapter Corporation Board.

Brother Lotsoff is a twenty year insurance industry professional. He is Assistant Vice President/Manager Underwriting for Liberty International Underwriters.

Brian Mudrick, Louisville '82
Alumni Director
Mudrick was the Undergraduate Director in 1981-82 and served as a Leadership Consultant in the 1982-83 academic year. He is retired from Abbott Laboratories and lives in Chicago.

Robert A. Stewart, Washington '64
Alumni Director

Brother Stewart is retired from two parallel careers. He owned and operated a family food business and served as a pilot in the Air Force and Air Force Reserve, retiring as a Colonel. Today he volunteers with the Order of Daedalians which is a society of military aviators. Bob serves on DU's Standards Committee and is president of the Northwest Delta Upsilon Corporation and Washington DU Alumni. He and his wife Merrily live in Seattle and have three grown daughters.
