DU partners with Helper Helper to assist chapters in organizing and reporting service hours
Philanthropy and service are major parts of the Delta Upsilon experience. In addition to supporting the Global Service Initiative, the Fraternity's international philanthropy and service project, DU members are encouraged to seek out opportunities to serve their local communities. From volunteering at animal shelters to blood drives and community clean-ups, DU chapters/colonies strive to make an impact in the communities they call home.
In fall 2018, Delta Upsilon began its partnership with Helper Helper to assist chapters in organizing service opportunities and tracking volunteer hours. The Helper Helper software system and mobile app helps chapters do this more efficiently than ever before. Tracking service hours is part of the Men of Merit Chapter Standards Program.
How to Use Helper Helper
Members of the chapter/colony Executive Board will add individual members to the system. From there, brothers will set up their accounts and start tracking service hours.
