WILL / BEQUEST / LIVING TRUST
Estate planning is an important part of your financial future, and it’s easy to include the DUEF in your plans.
IMPORTANCE OF ESTATE PLANNING
While it may be difficult to talk about, estate planning and creating a will is an important part of you and your family’s financial future. The Delta Upsilon Educational Foundation, along with individuals and other nonprofit organizations, can be listed as a beneficiary in your plans.
A charitable bequest to the DUEF may be expressed in terms of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of an estate or as a residual or contingent beneficiary. Examples include naming the DUEF in your will, trust, 401K plan or insurance policy.
WILL REQUEST LANGUAGE
If you would like assistance with how to word your bequest in your plans, please contact Foundation Executive Director Justin Kirk at firstname.lastname@example.org or Associate Executive Director Stephannie Bailey at email@example.com. Contacting the DUEF will also let the Foundation know of your plans.
