Axel joined the Delta Upsilon staff in September 2025 as a Leadership Consultant. In this role, he will help manage the Fraternity's expansion efforts by recruiting and setting up new chapters. He will also travel North America to support existing DU chapters in their recruitment efforts.

Axel is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated with an honors bachelor of fine arts in Cinematic Arts. As an undergraduate in Delta Upsilon, he served the Arlington Chapter has VP External Affairs, VP Administration and VP Academics. On campus, he was the Vice President of the Film Club and served as a videographer for The Shorthorn, UTA's student-led newspaper. 

While a videographer with The Shorthorn, Axel's work was recognized with several awards, including Best Multimedia News Story (December 2022) and Best Sports Multimedia Story (November 2024) from the Associated Collegiate Press, as well as Best Video Advertising/PSA/Promo (November 2024) and Best Multimedia News Story (March 2025) from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association.

Hobbies

Axel loves travelling, rock climbing, running, lifting, reading, filmmaking, video games, board games, and watching movies/tv shows. During his study abroad experience, he played the main villain in an original Swedish musical based on Dungeons and Dragons.
