Fall 2025 Delta Upsilon Quarterly

Campaign Impact One Year Later

Delta Upsilon celebrated the historic achievement of the Ignite The Charge Campaign on Aug. 3, 2024, with total commitments surpassing $10.39 million. Although $3.56 million are estate commitments that won’t impact the Fraternity for years to come, the $6.83 million in cash and endowment commitments are already having a significant impact on DU undergraduates, chapters and volunteers. The following pages summarize how the three funding priorities of the Ignite The Charge Campaign—along with ongoing support of the Annual Loyalty Fund—are Building Better Men in new and expanded ways.

I. Individual Development

The hallmark of the Fraternity’s Building Better Men mission is our ongoing investment in the hearts and minds of DU undergraduates. Thanks to the Campaign, even more bright and capable young men are able to attend educational programs, which are rooted in DU’s Four Founding Principles and proven leadership development curriculum.

II. Chapter Enhancement

Delta Upsilon offers many educational programs each year, but thanks to our Campaign donors, more programs and resources are now being delivered at the local chapter level. Building thriving and sustainable DU chapters requires regional Executive Board training, volunteer coaching and Building Better Men Retreats customized to meet the local needs of each chapter.

III. Fraternal Relevance & Innovation

The Campaign has solidified Delta Upsilon as a relevant and innovative organization by funding expanded and enhanced Building Better Men initiatives, along with forward-thinking research efforts in partnership with the North American Interfraternity Conference. The vitality of the college fraternity hinges on DU and other like-minded organizations that prove the fraternal experience works and is critical for young men.
