Chapter Legacy Plan

Want to take your chapter to the next level? Through a Chapter Legacy Plan, you can endow scholarships for DU educational programs.

Fundraising Initiatives

Chapter Legacy Plans are fundraising initiatives that help create and sustain personal and organizational success specifically for members of a particular chapter. Money from this fund cover registration costs for more men to attend national DU educational programs each year. Each chapter receives 4 complimentary registrations (two to the Leadership Institute, one to Presidents Academy and one to the Recruitment Symposium). With a Chapter Legacy Plans, chapters receive up to 12 registrations for programs.

Statistics

An investment of at least $150,000 will endow the 12 educational scholarships that will have an immediate and enduring impact on the quality of the membership experience for the chapter. Our statistics show that DU’s highest performing chapters send, on average, more men to the Fraternity’s programs. The more men with the skills learned through these programs create stronger chapters. And stronger chapters attract the type of members who seek out these types of educational opportunities.

“If I have to pick one thing that I think has turned the San Diego State Chapter around, it’s the leadership training. It takes more than a chapter president and a few officers to build a strong chapter. The more men we develop, the bigger the impact.”

- Bruce Howard, San Diego State ’70
