Virginia Tech University

Original Charter Date: March 5, 1983

Expansion efforts to reestablish the Virginia Tech Chapter began in August 2023, with DU Leadership Consultant Tommy Valenti, Boise State ’22, leading the efforts.

The chapter originally chartered in 1983 and closed in 2013.

The group held its Associate Chapter Ceremony on Nov. 8, 2023, and continues to recruit new members and work toward chartering requirements. The Virginia Tech Associate Chapter has 21 associate members as of April 9, 2024. 

University of Washington

Seattle, Washington
Original Charter Date: Dec. 9, 1910

Delta Upsilon began expansion efforts at the University of Washington in late September 2023, with DU Leadership Consultant Russell Briggs, Boise State ’23, leading the efforts.

The chapter originally chartered in 1910 and closed in 2018.

As of April 9, 2024, the group has eight associate members. Working closely with the Washington Chapter alumni, recruitment efforts continue, and alumni have established an academic scholarship program for potential new members, as well as scholarships to cover joining fees for anyone who joins the associate chapter this academic year. 

Idaho State University

NEW CHAPTER!

During the fall 2023 semester, an interest group at Idaho State University approached Delta Upsilon about affiliating with the International Fraternity. In late fall 2023 and early spring 2024, DU staff met with the interest group and officially started an expansion project on campus.

Throughout the spring term, staff has continued to work with the group to recruit additional new members, gain campus recognition, identify chapter advisors and more. As of April 9, 2024, the group has 17 associate members.
