President's club history
The President's Club is the Foundation's oldest and foremost giving club. Established in the early 1970s by then-Fraternity President W. D. Watkins, North Carolina '27, the President's Club recognizes those giving leaders of the DUEF who have given a total of $1,000 or more in a fiscal year through the annual appeal.

An invitation to the inaugural President’s Club Reception at the Leadership Institute in Louisville on Friday July 25, 2025 (4:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.)
Periodic virtual fireside chats with our Executive Director and other Fraternity and Foundation leaders.
Recognition in the Annual Report in the fall DU Quarterly.
A unique DU cocktail glass for those attending the President's Club Reception at LI.
A special President's Club lapel pin for Club members reaching major milestones in the Club each year.

Changes to the President Club minimum giving
The 2025 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025) will continue to see those giving at $500 or more as members of the President's Club or above. Beginning in the 2026 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2025) the minimum giving amount will be recognized at $1,000 or more in a fiscal year.
What if I Am above the President's Club?
All of the benefits described above to the President's Club members will be provided to those in annual giving clubs above as well.
