Alberta

In February, the Alberta Chapter hosted its annual 24-hour bike-a-thon to raise money and awareness for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. During the event, at least one brother is riding a stationary bike every second for 24-hours. This year, the chapter live streamed the event. This summer, the chapter also hosted its annual golf tournament with alumni and a Summer Solstice Volley Tournament. A new “ultimate grill station” is being added to the chapter house and is ready for all future alumni cookouts and brotherhood events.

Arlington

The Arlington Chapter hosted its third annual Pickleball Tournament on April 18. Proceeds benefitted the Global Service Initiative.

Bradley

This spring, the Bradley Chapter co-hosted a philanthropy baseball game with Sigma Chi to raise money for their respective philanthropies. It was the third time partnering with Sigma Chi on this event, and attendance and profits grow each year. The chapter also partnered with the Peoria Park District to assist with its Family Fun Nights and other events.

Internships and professional development are important to the chapter, and brothers are proud to have two brothers who interned for the Chicago Bears this summer.

Carnegie

The Carnegie Associate Chapter recruited more than 20 young men from 12 countries and a variety of academic and professional backgrounds during its first year back on campus. In the spring, the associate chapter competed in its first Greek Sing event in over a decade when it partnered with Alpha Chi Omega to raised more than $4,000 for Cancer Bridges, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that provides support and resources for cancer patients and their families. The associate chapter continues to work with IHQ staff and the university to expand its presence on campus. A dedicated and generous alumni group has continued to support the groups’ endeavors.

Clarkson

The spring semester was busy for the Clarkson Chapter. Thanks to its recruitment efforts, 11 new brothers were initiated into the chapter—the highest number of any other fraternity on campus. The men also welcomed Kate Mikel, the Associate Director & Tutor Coordinator for Clarkson’s Student Success Center, who gave advice for finals week. On campus, the chapter was proud to win Delta Zeta’s Rose Bowl Week, which comprised of various competitions among campus organizations and raised money for the Starkey Hearing Foundation. The chapter also has an impressive seven members on the Clarkson Interfraternity Council.

Cornell

The Cornell Chapter’s former Chapter President Harrison Fredericks, Cornell ’26, was recognized by the university as one of three students who made the biggest impact on campus and community life. The award was presented to him by the Vice President of Student & Campus Life Ryan Lombardi in front of the Cornell Board of Trustees and senior administration. Brother Fredericks also served as the campus IFC President, the IFC representative to the Cornell Board of Trustees, and as a member of the varsity polo team.

DePauw

The DePauw Chapter brought home several awards following DePauw University’s annual Greek awards ceremony this spring. The chapter received the Excellence in New Member Development Award and was named Chapter of the Year for the second year in a row. These awards recognized the chapter’s associate member education efforts, its top campus fraternity GPA of 3.56, and the brothers’ more than 600 hours of service. Outgoing Chapter President Calvin Mensel, DePauw ’27, was named Outstanding Greek Scholar, and incoming President John Gunderman, DePauw ’28, received the Outstanding Community Service, Philanthropy and Activism Award.

The chapter is also proud to have hosted its most successful Rent-A-DU philanthropy event in years when it served 35 clients in Greencastle with tasks like yard work, painting, junk removal and more. The event raised more than $4,500. It’s initiation class of 24 new brothers was also its biggest since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Embry-Riddle

The Embry-Riddle Chapter celebrated its 15th anniversary this past school year. The chapter has continued the tradition of selling deep fried Oreos on campus. In the chapter's fourth year of selling them, the Oreos continue to be a major hit on campus to raise money for the Global Service Initiative. The brothers also hosted the inaugural Fraternity Firefight philanthropy event to raise money for GSI, and every fraternity on campus participated.

Samuel Malapati, Embry-Riddle ’28, was elected VP of Operations on the IFC Executive Board. This past year four brothers were initiated into Order of Omega: Joseph Davis, Embry-Riddle ’27; Owen Dover, Embry-Riddle ’27; Reilly Wagner, Embry-Riddle ’27; and Samuel Malapati, Embry-Riddle ’28.

Florida

The Florida Chapter is proud of its brothers’ accomplishments. Chapter President Noah Disher, Florida ’28, was elected to represent the Warrington College of Business in the Student Senate, which is a highly coveted seat. Recent graduate Luca Juckett-Malone, Florida ’26, was accepted into Penn State’s Dickinson Law program, and Tony Angolini, Florida ’01, traveled to Milan, Italy as part of UF’s study abroad program as he works toward his MBA. Brother Angolini was one of six alumni initiates into the chapter this February.

Fullerton

As a newly established associate chapter that hosted its Associate Chapter Ceremony this spring, the group has been working to develop connections with area alumni, other campus organizations and community partners. The associate chapter is planning local beach clean-up projects and potential volunteer opportunities with the Nixon Presidential Library. Members were excited to attend several DU educational programs and campus-wide events, including the Associated Students Inc. (ASI) Spring Concert featuring DJ Mustard.

Illinois

Alumni relations is important to the Illinois Chapter. Thanks to more than $100,000 raised by alumni, 13 undergraduate brothers were award scholarships as part of a new scholarship program. A new mentor program has also paired dozens of alumni and undergraduates together. After celebrating the chapter house’s historic renovations this past fall, the chapter is gearing up to celebrate the house’s 100th anniversary with alumni in October 2026 during Homecoming Weekend.

Iowa State

This spring, the Iowa State Chapter once again hosted its DU Drive Through philanthropy event and raised around $3,000 for the Global Service Initiative by selling loaded Culver’s fries and root better floats. It also sent five brothers to the GSI trip to Jamaica in May. Later in the summer, the chapter hosted its annual Escape to 117 Ash with alumni. This event serves as a DU reunion and includes a golf outing, dinner and recognition.

Kansas State

Two big events for the Kansas State Chapter this spring included its annual Miss K-State pageant that raised money for the Global Service Initiative. More than 15 organizations were involved this year. The other event is an annual trip to a Kansas City Royals game that allows the brothers to relax and connect over summer break.

Miami

The Miami Chapter had successful recruitment efforts this past year and initiated 32 new brothers in the spring. With that same number of brothers graduating in May, the recruitment puts the chapter into a good place moving into the new year. The chapter hopes these new alumni and more join them for Homecoming on Sept. 26. Alumni can learn more at miamialum.org.

Missouri

This spring, the Missouri Chapter continued its partnership with The Food Bank Market, where members stocked shelves and assisted shoppers with their groceries. A new partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri also allowed the men to serve as mentors to area youth. Toward the end of the semester, the chapter participated in the IFC Cup, which is a football, basketball and soccer tournament between the fraternities on campus. As a larger chapter, it was placed in the biggest pool and walked away as overall champions.

North Dakota

As part of the chapter house renovation a few years ago, the North Dakota Chapter created a space where it could host cultural events. In February, the chapter partnered with the Community Foundation of Grand Forks and the United Way to launch “Music With a Mission,” a musical salon to showcase and raise money for a local charity. The event featured music by UND Professors Simona Barbu (cello) and Nariaki Sugiura (piano) and raised more than $13,000 for the Weekend Meals Backpack Program that provides 1,500 food-insecure students in the areas with nutritious weekend meals.

The chapter is also proud of its 62 members achieving a chapter GPA of 3.49—the highest of all fraternities on campus—as well as its annual Quesadilla Feed that raised $4,600 for the Global Service Initiative.

Rochester

The Rochester Chapter hosted two big events this spring. One was a campus-wide hot dog eating contest that brought together students, faculty and members of the Greek community for a fun and competitive afternoon. The other was the inaugural Genesee River Valley Conservation Project (GRVCP), an environmental service initiative focused on preserving the local ecosystem surrounding the Genesee River. Chapter members volunteered their time to remove litter and debris along the Genesee River West Bank, helping improve the condition of a valuable natural resource within the Rochester community. The chapter is also proud of its 10 new spring initiates.

Syracuse

The Syracuse Chapter continued its support of the Thirst Project, a nonprofit that works to end the global water crisis by building freshwater wells in developing communities. The men hosted a DJ charity event that raised $3,500, and two brothers (James Wildhack, Syracuse ’27, and Fel Edmunds, Syracuse ’29) traveled to Eswatini in southern Africa to assist in the construction of a freshwater well funded, in part, by the money the chapter raised.

This has been a banner year for individual achievement within the Syracuse Chapter. Zach Weiss, Syracuse ’26, was awarded IFC Man of the Year. Jackson Simon, Syracuse ’27, was elected IFC President for the upcoming academic year, and Greg Carlton, Syracuse ’27, was elected IFC Vice President of Public Relations. The chapter was also excited to welcome 26 new initiates.
