Board of Directors Slate Announced

May 25, 2018 - The International Fraternity's Nominating Committee has announced the slate for the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity Board of Directors, which will be voted on during Assembly at the 2018 Leadership Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Members of the Board of Directors are elected to two-year terms. To provide consistency in leadership, terms are staggered with half of the board being elected each year. 

The Nominating Committee, chaired by Past Fraternity President Dr. Bernard Franklin, Kansas State'75, unanimously agreed to nominate the following brothers for two-year terms as officers and directors of Delta Upsilon International Fraternity.

Officers and directors nominated with terms expiring in 2020:
Thomas Durein, Oregon State '92 - President
David P. Whitman, Indiana '75 - Treasurer
Timothy C. Dowd, Oklahoma '75 - Director
Dustin W. Roberts, Bradley '03 - Director
Dr. Andrew Dunham, San Jose '86 - Director
Brad M. John, Iowa '96 - Director

Continuing officers and directors with terms expiring in 2019:
Robert S. Lannin, Nebraska '81 - Chairman
James Bell, Calgary '94 - Secretary
Dr. Aaron D. Clevenger, Central Florida '97 - Director
Bruce V. Howard, San Diego State '70 - Director
Lynn D.W. Luckow, North Dakota '71 - Director

Retiring from the Board is President E. Bruce McKinney, Missouri '74. Brother McKinney joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and became Treasurer in 2008. He served in that role for six years before being elected President in 2014. The Nominations Committee thanks Brother McKinney for his service to the Fraternity.

Each year, two Undergraduate Directors are also elected to the Board of Directors by the Undergraduate Convention. Undergraduates interested in applying for these one-year terms must be present at the Leadership Institute and submit an application by June 29, 2018.
