LI 2022 - Extending Stay and Disney Info
Delta Upsilon is excited to host the 2022 Leadership Institute at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Lake Buena Vista, Florida! The Fraternity understands that our LI attendees may want to take advantage of the opportunity to visit a Disney attraction during their trip.
Please note that Friday evening is an open night with no programming, and undergraduates and alumni have the opportunity to purchase tickets to a Walt Disney World Theme Park. This is the only time during the LI schedule that is available to visit a park. Attendees are expected to attend all LI programming. If you would like to spend more time at Disney, you may arrive early or extend your stay. The following options are available to you:
EXTENDING YOUR STAY
- The Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is offering a special room rate for LI attendees three days before and three days after LI.
- To take advantage of this special rate, you must select your additional nights on the LI registration form at the time of LI registration.
- Undergraduates attending LI on a complimentary chapter registration or scholarship are responsible for the cost of any additional room nights.
- If you wish to extend your stay beyond the three-day window, inquire directly with the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista.
PURCHASING THEME PARK TICKETS
- Please note that the cost of park tickets is not included in the LI registration fee.
- Undergraduate and alumni attendees have the opportunity to purchase partial day tickets to a Disney Theme Park for Friday, Aug. 5 after 5 p.m.
- Purchase partial day tickets at this link in advance of LI.
- At the top left of this site, select “Buy Tickets” and follow the prompts.
- On the third page, make sure to select “Partial Day Product.”
- Select the number of days and number of tickets you need.
- Make sure to select the “after 5 p.m.” option. (LI programming for the day ends at 5 p.m., so you will not be able to attend earlier.)
- In addition to this ticket, you will also need to make a reservation at the park you would like to attend. Information on making a reservation will be available after you purchase your ticket. Please note that reservations are limited and subject to availability. Delta Upsilon has no control over park reservation availability.
- If extending your stay, you may purchase full and multi-day park tickets.
- Purchase full or multi-day tickets at this link in advance of LI.
- At the top left of this site, select “Buy Tickets” and follow the prompts.
- On the third page, make sure to select “Products and Prices for All Guests.”
- Select the number of days and number of tickets you need.
- In addition to these tickets, you will also need to make a reservation at the park(s) you would like to attend. Information on making a reservation will be available after you purchase your ticket. Please note that reservations are limited and subject to availability. Delta Upsilon has no control over park reservation availability.
- The Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista offers free shuttles to each Walt Disney World Theme Park.
