UGAB and Undergraduate Director Applications
Delta Upsilon is now accepting applications for to serve on the Undergraduate Advisory Board and as Undergraduate Directors for the 2024-2025 academic year. If you have questions regarding either role, contact Senior Director of Chapter Development, Dominic Greene, Oregon '99, at greene@deltau.org.
Undergraduate Advisory Board
The Undergraduate Advisory Board serves as a focus group of the Fraternity membership. Six undergraduates are elected each year by the Undergraduate Convention to serve one-year terms.
Applications for the 2024-2025 Undergraduate Advisory Board are now open. UGAB candidates will be voted on during Province Meetings at the 2024 Leadership Institute in Atlanta on Aug. 2. UGAB candidates should attend LI. Applicants must:
- be in good standing with chapter
- be in good standing with IHQ
- have attended at least one DU educational program
- have held a campus or Fraternity leadership position
Undergraduate Directors
Each year, two Undergraduate Directors are elected by the Undergraduate Convention during the Leadership Institute to serve one-year terms on the Fraternity's Board of Directors. Undergraduate Directors must participate in Board meetings, conference calls and email discussions throughout the year, and attend two to three times in-person meetings. Candidates should be available to attend those meetings.
Any initiated undergraduate in good standing is eligible for election.
Candidates are required to complete an application, then a committee of your peers will evaluate the applications, and no more than five undergraduates will be selected to deliver a two-minute speech to the Undergraduate Convention. If an applicant is unable to attend the Undergraduate Convention in person, their application materials will be presented to the Undergraduate Convention in place of a speech. The Undergraduate Convention will elect the two Undergraduate Directors.
