Delta Upsilon is hiring

Nov. 16, 2018 - Delta Upsilon is currently seeking qualified candidates for three open positions at its International Headquarters in Indianapolis: Leadership Consultant, Senior Director of Development, and Digital Media Coordinator. All three positions are full-time, salaried positions. 

Leadership Consultant

DU is hiring Leadership Consultants for both January 2019 and June 2019. January hires will join the team to assist with expansion efforts and chapter development during the spring 2019 semester. June hires will do the same throughout the 2019-2020 academic year. Leadership Consultants may have the opportunity to work on expansions in southern California and Colorado, along with assisting chapters across the U.S. and Canada with recruitment and operations training.

Leadership Consultants are recent college graduates who travel North America assisting DU chapters and colonies. Serving as a Leadership Consultant helps develop skills in a number of critical areas that can be transferred to any profession: interpersonal communication, recruitment/marketing, time management, servant leadership, project management and more.

Senior Director of Development

The Senior Director of Development will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Delta Upsilon Educational Foundation's philanthropic initiatives. The Senior Director will partner with Justin Kirk, Executive Director, and work closely with senior staff and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees to increase philanthropic support and sustain it at a level that will enable the Fraternity to continue to achieve its mission and vision. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Development will provide leadership and strategic oversight for the Foundation’s comprehensive fund development program in an effort to continue to build annual support and cultivate, solicit and steward transformational gifts to further secure the Fraternity’s future.

The Senior Director will be responsible for leading the Fraternity’s annual, capital and endowment fund development efforts to secure financial and in-kind support from key donors and prospects. The position will have oversight responsibility of the fund development function and will provide leadership in the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of high-end major gifts. will have at least five years of fundraising/advancement/sales experience with at least three years of management experience.

Digital Media Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Digital Media Coordinator will coordinate and execute the production of content that tells the story of Delta Upsilon and its members, as well as builds affinity for the Fraternity. This includes video production, social media management, email communications and website management. Together with the rest of the Communications Department, he or she will also help promote Delta Upsilon’s brand and assist the DU Educational Foundation in its communications/marketing needs.

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design or related field is required. Recent or upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply. 

Start date is flexible. The position is available for immediate employment or between now and May/June 2019.
